What version of firmware should I have on my phone?
snom 190 or elmeg ip290 phones -
Snom provide a very stable version of software, 3.60x. This is unlikely to change.
snom 300 phones -
Snom 300 phones can only run version 6.x firmware or higher. We currently recommend firmware 6.2.2, although 6.2.3 should also be fine.
snom 320/360 phones -
Snom 320/360 phones can run older firmware than snom 300 devices. If running older firmware, you should upgrade to version 4.5. Any version of firmware above 4.5, and less than 6.2.2 should be avoided. We currently recommend firmware 6.2.2, although 6.2.3 should also be fine.
The snom WiKi has important information on the upgrade process between older and newer versions.
aastra phones -
At least version 1.3.1 is required, version 1.4.0 is current.
When available, version 1.4.1 is likely to fix some minor bugs (we are currently evaluating the beta release.)
