new offices for ipcortexipcortex, a core networking and infrastructure provider, has recently moved to new offices in Bletchley Park Science and Innovation Centre (BPSIC), perhaps better known as the home of World War II code breakers. However, not everybody can gain entry to the new facility, which is uniquely run by a group of entrepreneurs. The centre was officially opened last year by Lord Sainsbury of Turville, Minister for Science and Innovation, and has a fascinating past as well as a promising and exciting future. The new centre is a joint venture between Milton Keynes Capital Partners (a group of entrepreneurs) and Bletchley Park Trust. As well as the usual facilities associated with normal leased office space, businesses will also have access to practical and pragmatic advice from the management team, as well as access to a strong support network and potential funding. ipcortex new offices are found in one of the historic code breaker’s blocks, and provides the company with the much-needed space for additional staff and ongoing expansion plans. As well as taking new offices at the centre, the company have also been instrumental in the implementation of the networking and communications infrastructure, which boasts state of the art technology such as wireless and VoIP designed to support companies at the new site. “The move will put us at the core of this exciting development, an environment where we are able to engineer and demonstrate new and advanced networking technologies that will benefit many businesses”, says Rob Pickering, Managing Director at ipcortex. Bletchley Park is adjacent to Bletchley Railway station, just 40 mins from London Euston with good access to the North via the West Coast Main Line and M1 which is nearby. The site is also exactly half way between Oxford and Cambridge giving quick access from the East of England and Thames Valley. All of this makes it an ideal location for ipcortex to serve the needs of customers throughout the UK. Bletchley Park Science and Innovation Centre has much to offer including, 24 x 7 security and a range of other support services. ipcortex also have access to a range of meeting and conference rooms in the mansion, ideal for seminars, and complete with the latest presentation equipment. “The aim is to create a vibrant and ambitious community of entrepreneurs, scientists, innovators and investors in technology and knowledge based businesses. Based at the birthplace of the computer and run by proven entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, we can access significant resources including investment, believing in "action this day" and treating our clients as peers. This gives us a significant edge over other centres”, says Gavin Wonnacott of Milton Keynes Capital Partners. ipcortex is in the business of helping its customers take full advantage of, and protect the investment they regularly make to their information and communication infrastructure. We do this by focussing on simplicity and reliability, providing a range of products and services that will improve the resiliency and security of a company’s network systems. | ||||||||
