new systems and support manager

Milton Keynes based ipcortex, a converged network solutions provider, has recently recruited Steve Davies as Systems and Support Manager to help fuel the companies growth. Steve joined the team on the 9th of February and brings with him more than 18 years IT experience gained from working with a number of companies including McAfee, DHL and Amazon.

Rob Pickering, ipcortex Managing Director says, “Steve has a lot of great experience, as well as up-to-date knowledge of key networking and security technology. He will play an important role in supporting new and existing clients and I know from working with Steve previously that he will be a great asset”.

The new Bletchley Park Science and Innovation Centre, home of the historic wartime code breakers, is just one of the sites that Steve will be responsible for in his new position. The communications and network infrastructure at the Innovation Centre uses the latest wireless and VoIP technology, implemented by ipcortex, and should encourage more businesses to make use of the centre. “Working for ipcortex provides me with the ideal opportunity to become involved at many different levels and to know that my contribution really makes a difference. It will also enable me to make the optimum use of my in-depth networking security skills as well as my broader data networking capabilities,” says Steve.

ipcortex provide practical core networking, wireless and VoIP solutions that are delivered using a competent no-nonsense approach, which often exceeds clients expectations. The company works with a wide range of companies including internet infrastructure providers, telecoms companies, on-line information services and other businesses. With a rapidly expanding client base, the appointment of a Systems and Support Manager will play a key role as the company continues to go from strength to strength.
