Bletchley, Milton Keynes – 8th February 2010 – Open, Accessible, Scalable and Feature-laden IP PBX makes Network Computing Awards shortlist for second year running
The VoIPCortex IP PBX has been selected as one of Network Computing magazine’s Communications Products of the Year, with the ultimate winner decided by public vote this month.
ipcortex Director Rob Pickering commented, “We are delighted to reach the final of the Network Computing Awards once more. It seems that the VoIPCortex IP PBX has really struck a chord with resellers and their customers, both of whom are looking for cost effective systems without compromise. As the entire range is based on open standards it allows a wide range of organisations the flexibility to find a solution that perfectly suits their requirements. This approach has allowed resellers to enjoy huge success with the product range, contributing to a record breaking year for ipcortex.”
Says Pickering, “We’ve also had a fantastic year in terms of development and innovation and have added a number of advanced features to the VoIPCortex platform. Perhaps the most exciting of these is the Open Communications Manager. The OCM extends call management and monitoring functionality to the desktop via any web browser, with no software install required – bringing affordable and accessible Unified Communications to any business, from the SME right up to the Enterprise.”
The Network Computing Awards, now in their fourth year, promote excellence across the data networking and telecommunications spectrum. The public vote is now open online and will close on the 22nd February. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony in London on the 4th March.
If you’d like to vote, you can do so online at the NCA website.
