Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes - 5th October 2012 - British UC vendor features again in record breaking year for the channel's premier awards evening
The VoIPCortex IP PBX range has been announced as a finalist at the Comms National Awards, in what’s been a record breaking year for the annual event – with more companies entering than ever before.
ipcortex CEO Rob Pickering commented, “We’re delighted that our range of UC solutions, which have been designed, developed and assembled solely on UK shores, have been selected as one of the top solutions for UK resellers working in the comms industry. With a firm commitment to innovating for the future, together with a constant awareness of the need to deliver real world solutions that work today, we have found a formula that really does help resellers to maximise their opportunities and succeed in UC - and reaching the finals of the Comms National Awards is a fantastic acknowledgement of these efforts”.
Now in their 11th year, the Comms National Awards cover all areas of the voice and data channel and are intended to reward excellence, inspire companies to improve service levels across the board and recognise the qualities, characteristics and attitudes possessed by people working in the UK ICT channel.
Chair of Judges John Chapman said: “Considering the current economic situation we were surprised by the size and complexity of some of the deployments. The skill of the channel has shone through again.”
ipcortex design and develop disarmingly simple standards based PBX and Unified Communications systems for on-premise and 'in the cloud' applications. We focus on delivering the capabilities companies require today when securing control over their UC infrastructure, whilst open standards deliver the interoperability and service model that will be required in the transition to cloud computing. We pride ourselves on delivering open, honest and trusted support, to and through, our fast growing network of certified resellers.
The Comms National Awards were created to celebrate and reward excellence in the channel and are not awarded via a voting process, but by the quality of services and solutions provided to resellers and reseller customers. Independently judged, the Comms National Awards have acknowledged the rise of the channel working across industries ranging from retail, hospitality, financial services and utilities to transport, pharmaceuticals and property.
